This camouflage pattern was adopted around 2010 for general issue to Turkish Air Force personnel. Very little is known about the specifics of its adoption, it being overshadowed by the similar M2008 "Nano" pattern adopted by Turkey's army around the same time. It consists of a dark tan base color with olive and bluish-gray shapes slightly resembling those found in Lizard and Tigerstripe patterns.
The uniform cut is made to be both practical and comfortable. During the process of designing their M2008 uniforms Turkey utilized fashion designer Azru Kaprol to create the uniform cuts, resulting in a perfect blend of form and function for their personnel. The influence of technical, fashionable clothing can be seen throughout these pieces.
Their fabric is designed to be quick-drying and breathable, utilizing a 70/30 cotton/polyester blend to achieve this standard. Its exterior fabric is ripstop, making it durable but easily repairable in case of damage. The jacket also features a lining, allowing for additional warmth in cooler temperatures. Its front secures during dual velcro/zip-up closure.
