This camouflage pattern was worn strictly by South Korean Special Forces beginning in the 1960s. It was issued until the late 1980s.
In 1977 uniforms of this type were exported to DERG Ethiopia. Some of these found also their way to ZIPRA insurgents during the Rhodesian Bush War via Ethiopia.
